We can see which side of the family Nicholas gets his Irish red hair from...
Nicholas at home on grandma's lap...
Joe: "The ladies can't resist a picture of a dashing man cradling an adorable little infant... just think of how many numbers I'll get when I frame this photo on my desk tomorrow... mwuahahaha!"

Gus: "That's it... I'm going to the kitchen... no one's paying any attention to me anymore..." >sniffle<
Nicholas scratches his chin pensively... to poo or not to poo...
Emily: "We'll just sprinkle a little pixie dust on him and voila! - he's out like a light..."
Scott: "Hmmmm... something smells funny... and the baby is grimacing... but it would be rude to interrupt the conversation... just play it cool, play it cool... DUDE! This is killing me... it's time for a change..."

"finger... must grab finger..."
"maybe if I lie very still. look angelic, and play possum, they'll all let me be..."
Gus says, "Hey.. what about me? Hey, you there - remember me? Enough about him... I'm supposed to be the baby here... I'm supposed to the cute one... ... this is so weak..."

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007- First Day Home

Today Scott and Emily came home from the hospital and managed to squeeze in a few minutes of much-needed rest after bringing their new baby boy Nicholas into the world! We've all been waiting and waiting for this day, so no sooner than did we receive the "all-clear" phone call - signaling that we wouldn't be too much of a burden to come by and oogle the new googoo-ler - than we were on our way over. Don't have a lot of time for typing as it's late and I've got to get some shut-eye, but here's the photos of the most adorable 5lb-6oz little booger we've been waiting for - check out Nicholas!
